Nothing wrong with him bigging up his players after a tough match,and to be fair,his comments about Southend players having premier league potential isn't that far fetched.We had Danny Graham on our side.
I don't think he said a word un true. Don't know about the premier league potential as that all I've seen of their players, but on that showing they certainly looked better than a league 2 side barring the odd one or two.
Can't see what he has said wrong in that interview. Still Citys best ever manager, despite what numerous illiterate slack jaws locally and nationwide would have you believe.
Yes, the fact that was 8 changes from our PL side, and a couple of their players being terrible, but on the whole liked what I saw. They deserve promotion.
I was impressed with Southend at the weekend. They put us under a lot of pressure. Our bit of quality at the right time killed the match, and we got over the line. We could've done better (referring to Graham's poor display). But winning is all that matters.
