http://www.givemefootball.com/pfa-transfer-list Very good website, very informative too. Check out some of the players that are on that list. (Filter selection on the right hand side of page) Enjoy! COYR!
Interesting read, some gems to be had there. Could Diomansy Kamara be tempted to join our quest?! More realistically, maybe someone like Jeremie Aliadiere, Saints could be a good place for him to regnite what was a promising career?
I believe he's been unattached for a year now there must be something wrong with him for no club want him at all
i like the look of giles barnes. agreed he gets injured but hes a pretty good player. Theres a few other good ones on there but i got bored by the time i got to D
I believe Aliadiere was a player we spoke to this time last year but his wage demands, similarly to players like Calderon, was too high and we turned him down.
Maybe a year out of football means he has lowered his demands now! Then again as Spiderman says must be a reason as to why he hasn't joined anyone. What about Eddie Johnson, powerful and fairly quick, international for U.S.A I think.
I'm mates with a Preston fan who said Eddie Johnson was one of their worst players this season, and in a team that comfortably went down that's quite an achievement.
As mentioned elsewhere, I think an experienced centre back to partner Fonte is pretty crucial (along with another striker)- there's a few going free on that list that could do the job: Stephen Caldwell, Abdoulaye Faye, Danny Gabbidon, Anthony Gardner, Zurab Khizanishvili, Abdoulaye Meite, Ibrahima Sonko... My charlton-supporting mates are also very irked that Semedo could be on his way.
There's some well known names on the list but not sure if they would work out to be good signings. Khizanishvili - after watching the playoff final looked a similar player to Jaidi (if you've got any kind of pace you'll course him nightmares) Sonko - Pompey fans nicknamed him the donkey
