    Fielding

    Byrne Clarke Flint Bryan

    Luongo Freeman Smith Alli

    Garner Doyle

Surprised nobody has mentioned this yet but 5 city players in the TOTY! Great achievement. Now hopefully Cotts gets manager of the year.

A tremendous honour for Bristol City and something of which we should all be very proud.

Congratulations to all the players selected and full respect for everything about my team.

Frankie has proved many people wrong, outstanding between the sticks this season...I have every faith in him next season too.

He made number 9 in the managers picks. I think he's a great player.

I think he's missed out because some players might have thought he was a RB and others a CB. So didn't get as many votes. How the **** Clarke is in there I don't know.

Frankie is another who has thrived under SC's method of management - built up his confidence and look at the end product!!

I can't argue with that list. Our players have done us proud.

On the subject of other players in this squad, if MK don't go up this season we should definitely put in a loan offer for Dele Alli. I doubt Spurs will want him to go from League 1 directly into the Premier League, and since we've done reasonably well with some of their players before I reckon we could get a top-quality young midfielder for next season for a reasonably low wage.

I agree - but nonetheless I am slightly surprised that he is considered the BEST GK in the league as voted by all the L1 players. With that kind of endorsement I can't see Cotts replacing him next season.
I am delighted for him - his confidence clearly grew as the season drew on and this is a just reward.

I do worry that his stature may be a handicap for him when we step up though - hope I am wrong.

Did he get the nod over the likes of Foderingham because we've conceded fewer goals and lost fewer games than anyone else ?

BTW - FF has also exceeded my expectations this season, but I'd still get another keeper in for next year.

He's alright in there for now for me .. you'll never get a perfect keeper, they let goals in occasionally!

It was his distribution that was bothering me but that has improved immeasurably..
