    Some positions are debatable but the only odd one really is Cahill - Fonte should be disappointed.

    Fabregas should be in instead of Coutinho and Fonte for Cahill. Other than that I think it is pretty fair

    It makes a mockery of Hodgson's neglect of him this season, he should be first or second choice LB, not sixth or seventh.

    It is amazing really as none of us were particularly enamoured when we signed him after his indifferent loan to Aston Villa last year.

    Our defence is good as a group...I suspect most players just voted for the obvious. Or perhaps everyone who had their shirt pulled by Fonte left him out:rolleyes:

    Find it baffling, that, despite the fact we have the best defence in the league, we're only represented by one player ... and that's an attack minded full-back (as deserved as it is, of course)

    Suspect that because players base their decisions on the games they've played against other players they remember attackers far better than defenders.

    So when choosing defenders they think 'well Chelsea are top of the league, they're a boring defensive team, they must have the best defenders. I'll vote for them.



    Oh, little Southampton have a good defence.....probably down to the one from Chelsea. I'll vote for him too'
