Came to us as Brann's player of the year after knocking in 14 goals in 27 appearances (and setting up another 5). A proper left mid with international, UEFA cup and Chamions leage experience, yet he can't seem to get a game and has dissapointed a touch when he did.

Slow to adjust to the Chamionship ? Or is there really such a gulf between English and Norwegian football ? I wonder how he'll get on in teh Prem.

I, like most, watched all the youtube stuff on him and expected big things. Imo he needs a few starts under his belt before judging him. I'm sure with a full pre-season under his belt we will see if he is the real deal!!

He's one of the ones I thought might be sold/released as COLIN didn't seem to rate him when he joined, i.e not giving him game time. I kept close tabs on him when he played a full game v ROI a couple of months ago and as one of the lads on the Irish site said "He's a poor mans Jamie Mackie". Did a lot of running but not much else.

Camberwell I reckon there is a massive gulf between Norwegian footie and England. I can't see this lad as a Premiership player.

Not sure why we signed him if he wasn't going to be given an opportunity.

David McIntyre tweeted last night: " Petter Vaagan Moen. Quieter than a shy mouse with a sore throat" Just clearly isnt good enough for this level or cant adapt to english football.

He was on the pitch last night but to be honest he wasn't if you get my drift however i expect him to play a part when things ramp up ... he holds good shape when i have seen him other times and has the minerals to do a job. There is much more to his game than most can see in my opinion .. a very good buy

I think he's a player that might simply do a job for us when we need a substitute or there is an injury. There are others in front of him in the pecking order but you never know... he might surprise us one day. I'm sure he will try his best because he'll want to play in the most highly regarded league in the world.

Not first choice by any means, needs to take his chance when it comes and I'm sure it will come.

I'm hoping he will surprise a few people this season given the chance.

Didn't NW give an interview where he said that PVM would be playing a lot of matches for us over the next two years.

Personally I like him however as I've said before this is down to a single event. Not really his actual ability.

He's looked fairly decent preseason. He's got minutes in every game so far i believe? I was at harrow, watched cesena, watched atlanta/braga, and listened to crawley- and he's been no worse than anyone else. I'm more concerned about our defence currently!

Course we all hope he's gonna come good this season... we feel the same way about all of our players - even Hulse. But where's the indication of this? Comes across as a bit of a light weight and not as effective as Ephraim...

From what I read, the Norweigan league is more desert than oasis.
