Diagnosed after he came down with a fever after our game against Villa. Acute leukemia. That's horrible. And sudden.
This is horrible... I hope he makes a full recovery. There are no words really for him at a time like this. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers...
Leukemia is cancer of the blood/bone marrow. When you think of it like that you realise just how bad it is. I know people who've had it and made a full recovery but he's getting on anyway I think so not sure whether he'll come back or not - could be a long battle for him and I wish him all the very best.
It's on our board because it's an issue that trancends club loyalties and unites genuine football fans.
Knock off the insults please. This thread is about a seriously unwell football player. Those who can't appreciate that and show a bit of respect will be prevented from posting on it
Your reactions...a simple get well soon would have sufficed but you let yourself get baited and ultimately in context it ends up with you looking like a dick
Why not post it here? He is a football player and it's serious news. Does not matter if he is a Villa player or not. As seen, people have commented on it and have wished him well. There is no thread about this on the Villa board, and most of the guys that comment on the Arsenal board do not bother with GC. If you do not like it being here, then ignore it. Pretty simple.
Reason is there are no Villa fans on NOT606 who post regularly, and nobody bothered to post on that board. Anway, there does need to be a reason to post this here. This is one of today's big stories and the guy is football player and this is a football board.
