http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/...social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=button This petition is to back the Malaysians I'm #92 let's get this rocking.
maybe an appreciation petition backing the malaysians and their general well being for the club and how we value them would be the best rather than the red or dead one because obviously there are fans like me out there that want the investment but not the club overhaul(if possible). i would write one but i'm ****e at stuff like that.
I've signed it more as a support for the owners with a message to back it up. I don't see them U-turning on todays decision but hopefully they'll be able to come up with a viable alternative.
To be honest Hbomb I think they have only done this as more of a reverse psychology kind of thing. I don't think they have any intention of withdrawing the 100m at all and found that the best scenario for them is to get the fans to decide they want the change instead. Saves them having to explain why they tore apart history, majority of fans get what they want. Win - win on their part.
Haha does make sense though doesn't it. I can't see them going from one extreme to completely pulling out over a few negative responses. Any business decision that is made is always gonna piss someone off somewhere, they are just minimising it by getting the fans to vote in favour - well that's what I think anyway.
swans-m I do like a bit of reverse psychology but in this case (... and I hate referencing WoL) an online poll has the majority in favour of the change. Granted not by much but still a majority. After reading probably too much on the subject, I'm convinced that seeing comments like the 2 below (not on here btw) played a big part. "Your son ever come here for a try out we will break both his ****ing legs" and "Take your Malaysian ****e back to the 3rd world"
