    Done.....the way this government is cutting defence...we'll all be issued with catapults soon....plus the cost of buying it.

    My reasoning is more to do with equipping the Services to do the job you give them rather than the UK being armed to the teeth. My views on getting involved in other people's wars and politicians sending young men to do what they wouldn't is well known on here. However, if they are going to send them anyway no matter what I think then they must give them the tools to do a job and not send them places with a pea shooter. If that costs money that could be spent on better things then so be it.

    Reminds me of the Land Rovers in Afganistan...not fit for purpose...not able to protect troops from road side bombs.
