For those who are interested, there is a petition online at 'News Now' to get this woman off of the FA Council. Signatures are increasing by the minute!

Just signed. Outrageous decision, well in keeping with FA polucy. She'll be a candidate for England manager next.
Received this update (for those that are interested): Hayley Parker Welling, United Kingdom 10 Aug 2016 — We made it past the 3000 mark this morning, thank you to everyone who has signed and supported so far! There has been a slight alteration to the petition, you may notice that the Chairman and CEO of the English Football League have been added to the list of people to whom the petition will be delivered. This is due to a reply from the FA to an enquiry about Ms Meire's appointment that made it explicitly clear that her appointment was the decision of the EFL, who are responsible for the selection of their FA council representatives. It has been so brilliant to have the support of other clubs on this petition, if you are one of the many non Charlton supporters of this petition please let it be known through a comment on the petition or a tweet (I am @ParkerCupcakery on twitter, @CAStrust are also on board) as it would give the petition even more strength when we present it if we can show that support is coming from accross the leagues and not only from Charlton fans. The 3000 is amazing, 4000 would be even more so- please keep sharing, retweeting and spreading the word about the petition! Thanks, Hayley Parker
The only reason for this appointment has to be because she's a woman, same as that special award she got from the Belgian university.
