I have read, on more than one occasion on here, that Pompey have never lost a game at Fratton Park when 3rd eye606 has been in attendance. Isn't it therefore time for us to call upon the powers that be at Pompey to present him with a season ticket and a free lift to and from the ground. For his part, I'm sure 3rd eye606 would be more than happy to write up a report of each match to be published here on not606. What do you think?
Now then Devon. I suppose it's a nice idea, but is it really fair to give a season ticket to someone has obviously attended so few games over the last couple of seasons??!
HEY! I manage to get to quite a few thank you very much! Not as many as I'd like - which would be all 46 if I had my way. They just happen to be the ones where we draw or win!
I think it's a great idea! Then our rise up the league can begin! Similarly I've only ever seen Farnborough lose one league game I think ever (against Basingstoke no less), and that includes several last minute equalisers!
3rd eye606 if granted a free season ticket - which I think would be an excellent idea - would of course in return have to dress up either as Nelson, or as the Sailor who used to walk around the ground before the match holding a placard. As we are currently 'laying off' a number of sailors from the Royal Navy, you will soon be able to pick up a cheap uniform on ebay, for him to wear. Job done.....
Actually, if only I had thought about it, I could have helped with this one. I was driving through Southsea the other day, and I saw that someone had nailed their Pompey season ticket to a tree. "I'll have that", I thought. Well, you can never have too many nails, can you?
Have just got my tickets for the Barnsley match I've set myself up now haven't I? I'm going to experience my first home loss between now and Christmas............
