Hoping for a draw here, devo. Alternatively, a sneaky 2-1 win would be great, with Futacs and Halford on the scoresheet for Us
Appleton's got his tactics spot-on; and at last Kitson's been dropped Hopefully Pearce's evaluation will go up after that goal, if we are forced into selling him. Also, with the team performing well in their past few games- where will Varney and Norris fit in ?? (Both are our joint top scorers though .. !! )
Listening to the Posh commentary - our fans are so LOUD - singing "don't sing - or you'll wake them up" to the Post fans who are being very quiet.
Good win for you today; I am not too sure Peterborough are going to get away from the relegation battle whereas it looks like you guys will be ok.
What an excellent away win for Pompey. The new boy Kelvin Etuhu played a blinder by the sound of things - what a great capture by Michael Appleton. Just seen the goals on the box, brilliant second goal by The Viking.
What a great day. Just got back. Good beer as well The 12th Man were awesome today. I'd like to think they had something to do with things-it was so loud on that terrace under the old roof. The home fans were not heard all game, whilst our fans were on it for the best part of ninety minutes. There was even a 'knees up mother brown' in there! I haven't heard that one for about thirty years. A lot of very happy people today.
You guys always seem to go on an upsurge when things off the pitch are going pear shaped. Looks like mid-table for you guys, I just hope we don't end up there too (no offense intended). How high do you realistically feel you can finish assuming no comings or goings before the end of the window?
Assuming no one left we'd easily finish mid table. We got one of the only positive goal difference in the bottom half! Appys a quality manager, and we'd actually do alot better if we had some f*cking owners.
After this game Futacs and Huseklepp should start every game- for the first and third, Futacs set-up Huseklepp, and for Pearce's second, Huseklepp provided the cross. Varney should stay on the bench when he's fit again
Every time I've been there, we always had no luck at all. Any one go to the game when they had Ian Bennett in goal. He must have had the game of his life, that day.
