This game has been postponed because Konsa, Da Silva and Magennis have been called up for international duty.
In other news Lewis Page will be playing for the U23s on Friday against Liverpool. Reeves and Marshall will be playing in a behind closed doors friendly against Ipswich on Monday. Both Reeves and Marshall will be on the bench on Saturday against Fleetwood.

One of the few positives so far this season has been the non appearance of Lewis Page. Ditto Lennon.

I forgot to add Lennon is training on a running machine. He is not on the grass yet man.

    Terrific.

Another midweek home game. These are difficult for me to get to at the best of times.
Still, better a postponement than facing Peterborough without Pearce, Dasilva, Magennis and Konsa I suppose. We would be slaughtered.

Somewhat worryingly, Karl Robinson has also said on the official website that we have two "new injuries" - though he would not say who.
Presumably these injuries are to players either in the regular starting XI or usually on the bench.

It sounds as though getting anything at all from the Fleetwood game is going to be tougher than expected.
A two week break after that may be beneficial all round. I think some players are already pretty tired, and we don't have any momentum to lose either (unless we gain some by giving Fleetwood an unexpected drubbing!)

I think one of the players could be Billy Clarke.

We shouldn't be any more tired than other clubs' players, and we don't hear about their injuries either.

Agreed. There's no justification for players being knackered this early in the season (except for Kashi maybe) but I still wonder if they were almost putting too much into some of those early games. Sounds a daft thing to say and maybe it is, but perhaps some of them have got a bit jaded - and losing enthusiasm a bit maybe after four games without a win.

Fourteen days without a competitive match might help a few recharge their batteries, and help KR to refocus them. He says the mood is still positive etc. but I would think there might be some distractions and petty stuff creeping in. A weekend training instead of playing and maybe an extra day off might be a benefit.
A win against Fleetwood would spread a little happiness around as well before the quiet fortnight.

Easy to avoid players getting stale if you have a first-team squad to utilise, instead of just a first team.

This site is reporting that the new date for the postponed Charlton V Peterborough game is Tuesday November 28th
This is confirmed on the CAFC website as well.

    http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/...-news-new-date-for-charlton-fixture-1-8178830

    So we now have two Tuesday evening home games in consecutive weeks, and four home league matches out of five in late November;

    MK Dons (H) Saturday 18th
    Rochdale (H) Tuesday 21st

    Scunthorpe United (A) Saturday 25th
    Peterborough (H) Tuesday 28th
FA Cup 2nd Round Saturday 2nd December (if we are still in it)
Checkatrade Trophy Round 2 Tue 5th / Wed 6th (if we are still in it)

    Portsmouth (H) Saturday 9th

With the FA Cup and Checkatrade trophy games & venues being drawn at random (presumably),
there is a possibility that Charlton will be playing 6 games out of 7 at home between Saturday 18th November and Saturday 9th December (22 days).

    Potentially a season defining month.
