I still can't believe Whitts has gone. Such a gifted footballer with a gentle, self effacing manner. I can't imagine the trauma his family have already suffered and now have to revisit. I'm sure we'll all be thinking of them.

I totally endorse his wife's statement about remembering him for what he achieved. He was immense for us for so many seasons.

Now the inquest is over I hope the club will create something permanent in his memory.

RIP Pete, forever a Bluebird legend.
