I quite like listening to him and Burnsey, they just make me laugh with the random things they come out with when commentating.
Thats because before the game he said we would get top 6 and as we all know, he is right about everything...lol Shame he is an ugly fat useless twat as he would have been good in silent movies....his voice grates on me.
Swanny's articles generally get slated because he just states the bleedin' obvious, today's is one of his better ones.
I think the main problem with him is that if you werent told he was an ex proffesional footballer you wouldnt be able to guess it. When you listen to Linton Brown or Jamie forrester for example you can see just how poor he is at punditry.
I remember when he started his career with us, defender turned striker! To be honest he wasn't that bad. We nick named him 'pin head' on account on his unusually small head in proportion to his body. That said an ex Leeds player, with a Leeds accent how he's associated himself to City **** knows! For me his (and fat **** Burnsey's) constant slagging off of City deserve all the slagging off he gets. I wish he'd **** off and let's get some proper ex players doing the commentary!! I like listening to the two of them. I've no idea why people on here insist on taking such an anti-media stance. Anybody commentating on our games would be called "thick, clueless twats" on here. "He's not saying exactly what I'm thinking, waaaaaaaaa".
It'll be because the Mail can't get basic facts right, and because the radio commentary might as well not exist due to how little they actually comment on the game itself, although granted the situation is exaggerated by the constant cutting to Scunny and Grimsby's games.
He is leeds through and through and when he was asked if he would pay to watch city if it was not his job he said your joking never and this was on humberside.There is also a youtube clip were he is asked what has gone wrong at leeds when they went down to div 3 .Been on youtube to find it but there is only so much leeds **** i can put up with so i stopped looking.He was gutted when we went up to the big boys leauge yet radio humberside thought he was the dogs bollocks.Agree about linton brown
