peter's just been on talksport talking to micky Quinn ,talking about the good old days when they were playing for different teams and how micky knocked out peters 2 front teeth,he had an opp played next game n some other guy smashed him in the mouth and knocked his stitches out( don't think you would see that now) hes been ill recently but everything is ok now, out of remission,him and his lass run a care company now, but couple interesting facts that came out, was that peter was Newcastles player of the year, putting gazza into 2nd and peter bearsdley into 3rd I can remember watching him and thinking he was a canny player didn't realise he was that good! he also has played in all 4 divisions and at one time had played against all the league clubs in England.If any 1 is interested he has a book out, living with jackson
Ggreat player and great leader on the pitch, I remember 10000 geordies in a cup game at spurs, we got beat I think but he was immense. hard but skilful as well. Shame he is out of the game, I will look out for that book.
