Ok...I didn't want to poison the official chelsea match thread by THFC61 with my miserable thoughts on this match so here goes; 1) AVB will walk to the wrong dugout and then have a walk of shame back to our bench 2) We will get our first penalty of the season in the first 10 minutes ... there will then be a 20 minute delay while someone has to walk down the kings road to get the ball back after it is hoofed out of the ground. 3) Torres will remember he is a footballer and get a hattrick. 4) Lampard will break the chelsea scoring record with a brace. 5)The chelsea fans will spend the whole match singing Boas what's the score? and Thursday nights channel 5! 6) We will end the match fondly wishing it had only been as gut wrenching as the 5-1 wembley humiliation last season 7) My Chelsea supporting mother in law will send a supportive text about how arsenal might mess up and how we've still had a good season. 8) mrs remembercolinlee (who is very happy with the football gods after sheff wednesday didn't get relegated and sheff united ****ed up in the play offs again) will be prepared to offer me some lurve consolation but i will be too sulky to realise and turn over and cry myself to sleep 9) I will wake up the next morning and it will take me 4.8 seconds to realise that the night before was NOT a nightmare and that I am going to be slaughtered by the Arsenal and chelsea kids when I get to school 10) Some ****er in school will mention the match in break time sending back into the depths of despair Think that about sums things up...wish it was August 1st...I'd be on holiday and full of hope for the new season!
I do actually work in a school ... I weren't planning to just walk into any old school the morning after the match ... you are a very weird bunch on here!!!!
Pessimistic predictions !....here's another one for you :- seriously 'I think Spurs will win the games against Stoke and Sunderland., and still not qualify for anything worthwhile'. None seriously. Lee, When you wake-up the morning after, just remember you're the teacher and therefor in charge of the situation. I would imagine the young Spurs fan kiddies will be looking to you for leadership. So if you gots ta kick asses, make sure its an Arsenal or chelsea ass that gets kicked...... that'll teach umm!. It might be worth noting also that, not all of above text is to be taken literally and it wasn't writen by me., honest Sir.
