This football malarky has just been given some perspective. Poor boy was at Beavers tonight and badly hit his head. Local minor injury unit saw him and then referred him to the N&N as might need a CT scan. Hit the back of his head but the pain is in the front mostly so they're worried his brains taken a whack and on top of that he's now puking too. Sitting in car outside the hospital with the youngest whilst wife is inside with him. Poor lad he's only 5
oh, wow, hope he is ok. He is definately in the right place. I am sure he is getting all the best care available.
Thanks guys, just home with youngest. Poor William was admitted to Jenny Lind in the end he's there now with the wife. He's just woken up and smiled, she just mms'd the pic to me. I've never seen anything so lovely as this cheesey grin please log in to view this image Not entirely out of the woods but he's awake, smiling etc which he hasn't done since this morning.
He's just had some juice and a small kitkat, still no doctor although rumours are he turned up when the wife went to the vending machine to try and get something to eat - innit typical. Starting to breath a big sigh of relief now
I can tell you that your kid is in very good hands. The neurology department are second to none. I've been there regularly throughout my life due to a medical conition, several knocks to the head and seizures resulting in quite a few MRI and CT scans. So don't worry!
hope he gets better rich, i've three kids myself some of which have had bangs to the head in the past.
Cheers fellas all being well he's coming out this afternoon but you know hospitals they like to take their time with these things. Sitting at work absolutely knackered today but at least the students are all off out to watch the torch this afternoon so i'll get some peace. they eventually got a bed on Buxton at 3am for them.
