So if we become the richest club on the planet and it’s a big IF... what type of conflict with you have? A moral one over their human rights record? Issues, like the PL over the way they facilitate piracy of the PL tv? My only big dilemma will be whether to get hammered at home on **** loads of cans... go out and get hammered to **** on pints... or be civilised and get ****ered on Bollinger...... matter so many years of Ashley and ****e football I’ll welcome Mbappe and Messi with open arms...
As with Man City and Chelski, Sky will put enough gloss on things to make us all forget within days, so it's irrelevant. The PL will be desperate for this to happen as well, by the way. More money = more big players = more viewers.
Black and white team that play in Britain's North. If we aren't marketed as the British Juventus I'll be disappointed. Personal worries about it are unimportant, everyone is excited about it and tbh, I'm not a contrarian so I won't be disappointed for the sake of it. If they add some **** colour to our kits I'll be mad. What are the City doing adding purple? Horrid.
I'm gonna be torn between whether to buy 1 or all 3 of our kits next season. I haven't bought one since Ashley took over having regularly purchased most new kits prior to him when they came out.
I think very few of us will have too many conflicts about this, but let's be honest, it's because we are all hypocrites and selective when it comes to morality - myself included. Quite a few of us would probably have plenty to say if it was one of our rivals being taken over in this way, just like we have done about Man City. It's life. We choose not to pay attention to anywhere near as many negatives when we see something will benefit us - and if this happens (probably won't happen) it will definitely benefit us. Right now that's all the majority of us are looking at.
None, like none at all. Considering the **** we have to put up with, and the more than likely end result we'll have to put up with Ashley for years to come, the prospect of being the richest club on the planet isn't an unwelcome one.
The ones trying to push home this narrative in the media are the same that will report/support England in Qatar without acknowledging the irony. We're just football fans and, if MA has taught us anything, we can't influence the behaviour of club owners. With that in mind I couldn't honestly give a **** if Hitler's reanimated corpse owned us
Given all the ****e we have had to put up with...... They can do whatever they want. If it happens and they pump money into the club.. I'm in......balls deep baby!!!!
only the slowest people on earth would fail to understand why it took time for the influence of rafa to fade as the ugly seed of bruce grew.
when it goes well at the start they take credit, when it does not they need time... its the latter thats accurate
Absolutely no surprise with your position there Mr. Shop, but at least you are aware of some of the grander issues, even if you have tried to belittle them by using your signature prose of talking about getting drunk.
