In the wake of the proposed new Black Players Union, it's emerged that a new splinter group has been proposed by Mark Clattenburg. To be known as the White Referee's Association, it gives rise to the advent of further pressure groups to advance the interests of it's victimised members.

Upcoming proposals for the formation of oppressed minority groups are reported to be: -

"Sam Hamman Resurrection Society", "Swansea City Moderator's Club", and "The Friends of Jimmy Savile".

    Anyone heard of others?

Well, for those that remember Sir Bobby Dangles - it is Friday after all.

Regarding Clattenburg - he is absolutely useless and deserves a punishment on those grounds alone.
Around six years ago he refereed a City v Weeds game - remember? It was the year Leeds got relegated I think. He sent off Chopra, bit harsh but it happens. We were 2-0 up with over half an hour to go. Fortunately Weeds were really bad, and City weoked like terriers when they were down to ten, and though camped in our own half did not look in danger. When we broke away with less than ten minutes left the midfielder who we had on loan from Charlton (what was his name?) drove through the mud and challenges into the Leeds half. He wasn't playng regularly and was clearly exhausted. He stumbled under a challenge - mostly through tiredness, Clattenberg(who was a long way behind the action) gave him a second yellow and sent him off for diving. Still one of the most laughable decisions I've ever seen - either live or on TV. The atmosphere, fuelled by the sense of injustice, was fantastic right up until the final whistle of the game - which we won 2-0 ..... AND HARDLY A SOUL LEFT BEFORE THE END OF THE GAME. WE WON, BUT STILL CLATTENBERG GOT THE WORST BOUT OF ABUSE AND BOOING I CAN REMEMBER A REF GETTING AT CITY.

We tried to sign him, he went elsewhere and broke his leg a couple games in.

Having lived in Ingerlund for 25 years I always feel in a minority. I think its great!!!!

How about McPhail starting an 'I can only kick a ball with one foot' society?

Hows about the "I love Wales on Line Reporters Club" closely followed by the "Football league games should be on Friday or Saturday evenings or Sundays but definitley not 3.00 pm on Saturdays Club"?

P.S. At a networking group this morning I met a young lady whose claim to fame was that she was the last person to sing on Jim'll Fix It. Make up your own jokes guys.

He got a reprieve last week.....

    ....didn't even make the bench.

Pass the buckets round next home game and get him a pair of tweezers and a packet of plasters.

    .....didn't even make the bench.

Maybe not ignored DJ, and possibly "oppressing" is something they do, rather than have done to them.

Most definitely a persecuted minority over there though - life expectancy is very short.
