    Seems like a Briatore signing. He is in charge of the contracts after all.

    So let him sign the man if he wants ... Warnock doesn't have to play him, does he?

    I agree it'll be another dubious one, worth giving a toss though, about a player taking a space who's no use! I suppose I should reserve judgement till I've seen him in the flesh, looks dodgy on vid!

    So: Ramage is sent out on loan; Gorkks appears to be out of favour; and yet this ne'r-do-well who has failed to make a big or immediate impact is reckoned to improve the pool of talent in our defence. I'm underwhelmed and mystified: it can't be true.

    I'm hoping Warnock was talking about signings that cost money rather than frees, Peroni doesn't inspire confidence from what we've seen so far...
