I'm not local to Pompey, as most of you know, so if we do fold, I'm looking for a new team, I personally don't think it would be right for me, to follow the new club. That should be only for full on Portmuthians. Who else will follow another non league team? Or a league team maybe Brighton or Bournemouth. I seriously doubt that anyone will switch to Southampton so they are excluded of course. I've made this vote public, to weed out any saboteurs, intent on mischief.
Chatham Town. But we're not going to fold. Well I don't think so. Fingers crossed ......................... hhhhhmmmm........ nah - we'll just get through by the skin of our teeth........ I hope
Yeah - sorry Hoadie, they are within walking distance of me. But I do keep my eye on what's happening at Priestfields.
I'm liking the fact that Farnborough's an option. I support them anyway, so I'd still support them and I'd also support the new Portsmouth. I might also consider supporting Reading, so I haven't a clue what answer to put in the poll.
I've voted for New Pompey, as should we all. A phoenix club would begin again for the 3013-14 season, hopefully no lower than Southern League Division One South and West. For the coming season, my virtual hat would be laid down at Westleigh Park, home of the mighty Hawks!
Blue is s***e, love the red and white Nah seriously I hope the club is saved, but if it isn't support New Pompey, the more supporters they get the quicker the team can reach the football league and we can have our real rivals back. Even if Bournemouth joined us in the prem (or we joined them in the football league ) it just wouldn't be right. The south coast derby is one of the greatest rivalries in the country and long may it continue... Plus I really wouldn't wish liquidation on any club... except maybe Man U, never really cared for them.
Seriously, I think as someone who is not a native Pomponian, I think you could consider the Red and (slightly) white tendency. It's a perfectly honourable choice and a real test for someone who professes not to buy into the haters tribalism. A bit like someone who says they are not superstitious..... Touch wood!
To be fair, with the situation how it is with Southampton, becoming a Southampton fan would be too easy. You'd pretty much be a glory supporter (albeit less so than supporting Man U or City).
