So as one or two posters don't enjoy reading critical posts about players we have not all been so happy with, so instead of writing about Green, Anton and Park, lets try Esteban. More will be happy with him I expect! http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/030912-city-bow-bittersweet-for-esteban-349128.aspx For me Esteban oozed class Saturday, and should be a key player for us. He seemed very accurate with his passing and had very good ball control. I really look forward to see him play many times, and with more attacking, creative, and sharper players around and in front of him than he had Saturday- the picture of him, Adel, Hoillet and Cisse properly "gelled" makes my mouth water!
Agree. Loved his corners and the free kick was superb to beat all of City. Alas, had it been Cisse on the end ot it instead of Nelsen. Quality player who will add serious threat to the team.
Definitely the highlight from Saturday evening. However, it does make me wonder how our super talented midfield could have so little possession for the first 30 minutes or so. It's all very well Hughes talking about getting the ball down and playing football but you have to win the ball first. It's like having only half the Barcelona equation. We missed Diakite.
We finally have a set piece taker, every one was in the correct area and not hitting the 1st man or going straight out of play. Looked very classy and that will show more against the lesser sides.
I'd like to see a central midfield three of Diakite, Granero and Faurlin. The Granero/Faurlin partnership is the way to go, comfortable on the ball and both able to pick a telling pass...
Hello everybody! This is my virgin post. Agree with the thread - Granero looks excellent and the Granero/Faurlin partnership is mouth-watering and the option of Granero/Faurlin/Diakite is even better.
The same paper that reported accurately on the Hillsborough disaster. Now what was it they said about the Liverpool fans....

Contemptible rag. I must admit to buying it every day for the Soccer section at the back but the rest of it is trash.
Granero looked very promising on Saturday, especially considering he'd only starting training the day before. I was impressed at times (only briefly!) by the short passing move, of which he was key, by our midfielders. We played well in the second half and at times they looked worried.
First post also. Here because of Granero. I'm a Real Madrid fan and i'm from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I'm planning to watch QPR matches from now on. I watched Granero a lot of time in action and i can say we (QPR) got a very good player. Maybe a little bit slow for this league but he'll just have to pass the ball faster. I would be really happy if he would play a classic #10 because it's his natural position. I will need time to learn about other players and the club so I will write just here in the beginning Sorry for my english I'm too lazy to check out on the google so I hope you'll understand me. Cheers
