one way of addressing spialling wage bills is to adopt a prp system. you perform weell as a team you get paid the basic wage eavh of say 250 a week plus bonus's. you do not perform you get the basic and a bollocking from uncle graham, this would concentrate players minds and might encourage better performances than of recent. is it a goer
 
It would be pretty controversial as there's often a difference between performances and winning matches- as Arsenal can testify! Not another controversy in football:bandit:

Regarding prp, if you made it a basic wage and then 50% extra for a start, 30% for a sub on, and so on. But it could lead to arguments over bonuses for defensive points.
 
Imagine players like Drogba, who squabble over who's taking the penalties on the last day of the season with the title and golden boot sealed<doh>
 
hi guys i have been hiding under the table since posting this one. i tried to do a tinned hats controversial one. for it to work all clubs need to adopt it or pay normal wages with a win bonus on top. somehow spiralling wage bills have to be capped for the sake of the game. thank you matster for your suggestion
 
I'd quite like to see a system like this:

This is purely an example so we'll go for injury prone Jonathan Woodgate and pretend he's on £100,000 a week (probably not too far off the real figure!)

Basic Wage £25,000
Starting Apperance £50,000
Sub Apperance £10,000
Winning Bonus £25,000
 
Order in value of bonus???:

Defense - clean sheet; win bonus; assist; goal
Midfield - assist; goal; win bonus; clean sheet
Attack - goal; assist; win bonus

Of course the percentage for each catagory would have to vary depending on which position the player is in.
