Im not expecting a win against Man Utd but I think a draw is possible. However for me 3 points against Blackpool now seems to be very achieveable because of their confidence at the moment and when we are in a scoring mood I think we could get 2,3 or even 4.

Nolan will be back which is a boost and going into this game I can see us getting the win. A few weeks ago I would have thought maybe a draw could have been the best we could get because they score goals but losing 1-3 at home to Wigan is not brilliant (No disrespect to them).

If we do grab a draw against Man Utd then the confidence and morale of our team will be sky high and I also think that if we get 4 points from the next two games then we are safe so im looking forward to next week

With Barton, Nolan, Tiote and Jonas all available in midfield, a full strength defence and Shola back up front I can see us winning. Tuesday night is a bonus game, any point would be unexpected. The most important thing is to beat Blackpool, that would virtually guarantee our safety as we'd be on 42 points. Roll on Saturday!

Understandable - great drive by Hamilton and great strategy by his team!

Nice one GRB, back to the original point I think it could be a good time to Blackpool, however I think if they are to stay up they have to beat us.

Confident of the 3 points. Blackpool are poor at home and in very poor form at the minute.

A point on tuesday would be amazing too.

  12. I think we should play Ranger and Lovenkrands in this game. Blackpool will play their usual high line, and Ranger and Lovenkrands could demolish it with their pace. Shola will get over run i reckon.

Agree with this but the way Ranger played at Villa I can not see Pardew picking him.

  14. Yeah well most of the team were **** on that day so you can't really pick on Ranger for that.

I don't think Pards is too worried by Ranger's performance at Villa, by all accounts he still has faith in him. Could see him getting a few more starts then.

No but you have to wonder if Ameobi would have been more effective but I would start Ranger purely because he can give defenders nightmares with his pace.

  17. I'd personally play this -

    ---------------Ranger-----------------

    Jonas----------Nolan--------------Lover

    -------Tiote--------------Barton-------

    Enrique-----Colo-----Taylor--------Simpson

Yes, but Collo up front would terrify anyone...

That looks a good team Tash, although I would play Lover up front, not on the wing, and Barton on the right.
