For him to still put a shift in on Saturday after this says all there is to be said about the bloke.

Can't say I agree with the people who criticize him, I always thought he was a very clever hard working player, probably we don't know his best position, but would have him in the team most times

Fair play to him for that. I've openly been critical of some of his performances this season but to put the shift in he did on Sat with that in the back of his mind, I take my hat off to him. Professional through and through. Kinda wishing Gayle had left that effort he passed back to the keeper for Perez to curl into the top corner now.

Good on ya Ayoze, much respect.

Good human story and he has a great attitude. I still don't rate his ability that highly but as a bloke, I can't fault his effort and commitment which is fully backed up by this kind of thing.

I like him as a player. He grafts and is capable of something decent. We’ve probably stunted him as a players but as a man and a person, evidently he is faultless.

If our squad has the spirit in line with Perez, we'll do well and finish decently in the league.
    Top fella.
