6 goals In 8 games and works his socks off tirelessly.

Him and Diame are the most improved players this season.

    Time for a new contract.

Not yet, I'd give him another season and if he keeps it up fine. But he was awful before he hit form

There are 3 years left on his current deal so I don't see why. Not unless he's getting paid way under what he's worth which I doubt.

I think he is on peanuts mate. I heard £20k. We need to tie him down on a longer deal.

Even on £20,000 I wouldn’t give him a new contract. Has shown a bit of form in the last few weeks. Was shocking before then. Let’s see him do it for a full season and then decide. Next we’ll be bringing Sissoko back because he has had a decent World Cup.

Peanuts? We should look at it at the end of next season. Either he's improved enough to earn a new deal or we'll move him on because by the end of next season we should be looking for a better standard if we're trying to build a team here.

I still think him and Diame need replaced, even though they've been good recently. I'd still keep both, but wouldn't expect them to be as good next year

Yeah need consistency innit, Perez and Diame have been awesome recently, but need more than just a few months of it. Ritchie hasn't been great of late, but he was outstanding last season, doesn't mean we should ditch him.

Perez was a bit patchy last season, but his talent has always been there to see, I'm not sure he'll ever be a consistent goal scorer, but he's clearly class.

All 3 should be retained. This season was built on team spirit and they have all played a big part.

I wouldn't be too fussed about waiting until the end of next season. He would hopefully be back up to a new No.10 next season. I'd definitely keep him around though as he is a good lad and works his socks off for the team. He is still progressing. In terms of a contract I'd rather see that money pumped towards a new players contract in the summer personally. If we renew that it comes off the wage budget. I think upgrading is the bigger priority being honest.

Same goes for anyone really. Unless they have 24 months to run I wouldn't even look at it.
