How many of you at the game yesterday saw the Peregrine Falcon ? Being an ex falconer myself I spent about 20 minutes between the 2nd and 3rd goal watching the bird. It was a male adult Peregrine by the way and as people keep saying on Foxestalk they think it was bought in by the club to reduce the pigeons. it's not as it's a wild one and they breed quite regularly in Leicestershire. My heart was in my mouth though when the bird decided to do a circuit of the pitch at a low height and was nearly knocked out the sky by a long Kaspar Schmeichal hoof. I hope it sticks around for the rest of the season because it was good luck for us yesterday.
