How many of you at the game yesterday saw the Peregrine Falcon ? Being an ex falconer myself I spent about 20 minutes between the 2nd and 3rd goal watching the bird. It was a male adult Peregrine by the way and as people keep saying on Foxestalk they think it was bought in by the club to reduce the pigeons. it's not as it's a wild one and they breed quite regularly in Leicestershire. My heart was in my mouth though when the bird decided to do a circuit of the pitch at a low height and was nearly knocked out the sky by a long Kaspar Schmeichal hoof. I hope it sticks around for the rest of the season because it was good luck for us yesterday. UTF & UTP
Had to laugh outside the ground, the police had got a group of Direby fans hemmed in and they all they all looked about 10. They were singing' millionaires and you've got s** t fans, which was very novel. If any City fans had shouted 'Boo' they'd have ran off. Anyway it was a case of Pot,Kettle and Black as they've got Shiite fans just without the millionaires bit. You do have to feel sorry for them as they've got nothing really to look forward too except a season of mediocrity and nothing else.
Everyone sat around me spotted the bird. The fact that is was a PF is amazing. Hope he/she drops by again!
