....well very lucky in my opinion...... I think many of us on here could have a successful managerial career if we started at Barcelona then onto BayernM........
Lets not forget the first summer at Barca if memory serves me correctly he did the very difficult job of - Offloading ALL THREE of Ronaldinho / Etoo / Toure.... who were all playing quite well but certainly with the former two motivation had totally gone. Toure's " workrate " has always been p*** poor, even when he was scoring for fun first 18 months in England I wasn't creaming myself about him like many due to it often being vs the poorer sides and it being like playing with 10 men vs the big boys. I saw Man City 1 Real Madrid 1 live at the Etihad and he was such a disgrace. So he certainly made Barca his own, that was a job very well done. That said, Real + Barca receive 80% of the tv ££££ a Spaniard once told me, with the other 18 sides sharing the remaining pot. Remember turn of the century Valencia / Deportivo in the champs league? Betis having Denilson / Joaquin and Barca struggling mid table under Van Gaal with Riquelme shoved on the wing! Joke. Sadly the Bundusliga has become Bayern Bayern Bayern now, summed up by Goetze and Lewandowski sadly in my opinion leaving Dortmund to remain in Germany. I remember 1998 I think it was Kaiserslautern went up the season before, then won the league! Werder Bremen / Stuttgart / Schalke are struggling to do anything it's a crying shame. Wonder if he gets all his players to take drugs like when he got banned at Brescia..... Toughest job to date this.
