The bloke oozes class but has anyone else noticed how he only says good positive things about us? it’s been like that for a while. perhaps the Mr Robson effect? perhaps he thinks that one day he will manage us?
For all he's always been at the biggest club of the time, he's clearly one of a kind and probably the best manager we've ever seen. Fergie was institutional and a force of nature, Wenger then arguably had a big impact on how the game was being played and Pep has just taken the best of both and merged it into one, alongside a bottomless chequebook. 12 Major Trophies in less than 8 years. Almost certain to win at least two more this season. Now more or less unbeatable at home. This kind of dominance is REALLY boring and I ****ing hate their "style" of football. But to be honest everyone who isn't a City fan would swap in a heartbeat. There needs to be a rebalance somewhere. On a side note - UEFA Coefficient this season meant that England were in line, most likely, for an extra CL place. The CL draw then ensured Newcastle finished bottom of their group. In the EL, West Ham have drawn Bundesliga leaders, Brighton got pumped off Roma. Villa drew Lyon. And in the CL, City got Madrid and Arsenal got Bayern. Now, I'm not saying it's fixed, but......
The man got banned 2 times for doping doping as a player, barca are currently under investigation for match fixing during his time as manager there, and let's not forget the 115 charges of cheating his current club is under, after they scammed uefa and dodged the 2 year Europe ban.. For cheating. Yeh mate oozes class
You think pep could've done what klopp done at Liverpool? With the same budget and restrictions. Guess we'll never know cos he only goes to moneybags clubs, the bald chequebook fraud ****
I agree go a point. At Barcelona he was at the best club with the best players. Anyone could have managed that team and won things. And as you say he cheated. Bayern Munich the same. They were miles ahead of everyone else with the best German players. Man City he’s managed a group of players and won things. The charges against them are pre his time I believe but I may be wrong.
When did pep take over. The fact remains he took over a juggernaut anyways. Yes he has to manage them but he has had the three best sides in each country respectively so has he done anything other than what was expected?
