Pep Guardiola will be given £240m to revamp his Bayern Munich squad next season and his No 1 target is Liverpool forward Luis Suarez. ...... according to the Mail. Is Germany ready for him?
Leads by example usually with the work rate and of course goals, I think he will make a good vice captain once Carra retires.
When Jol made him captain at Ajax he wasn't too popular - Jol that is. The fans liked the loose cannon that is Suarez and putting the captain's armband on him curbed that a bit. Is that what happened yesterday?
And who would you replace him with? (The Mail reckons Suarez is valued at £40m) AND - if Pep had of come in when Kenny left ....... he would have had Suarez
Where the hell can they find 240million to give him? What a ****e, made up story. As for Suarez, sure he can go, but if they're giving him a fortune to spend, we'll take 100mill. After Messi and Ronaldo, there is no one else as unique a player as Suarez (although there are better than him). I don't think Suarez should be captain though, I like him as a wild element to the team where he has that unpredictable streak. Being a leader would dampen that a bit, I think we saw that yesterday.
Don't know that but I doubt Suarez agreed on too high of a buy-out clause based on the results of Liverpool while he's been there.
Suarez doesn't strike me as a natural choice for captain, doesn't have the right temperament and is best left to concentrate on playing his game.
Whi gives a **** about replacing one player, £240m would but a quality team And yes, Neymar would be on my list
