<laugh> Maybe he'll be sacked before he even takes charge.

  5. The BBC has posted a tweet from Liam Gallagher.

    It's all so sickeningly predictable!

What's that got to do with this thread - which is about Pep joining City?

  10. Er... read the second post I made, immediately after the first.

How the hell am I supposed to orchestrate a successful wum-campaign with incompetent soldiers behind me?

You need to take some of that advice you dished out, Tobes!

  11. I am now expecting a plethora of "likes" from you, as a show of remorse for your impetuous behaviour, Tobes.

Nope. Never even met him. I did see Oasis live at both Maine Road and Wembley Stadium. The former was very good, the latter was crap.

  14. Quite right, Stan: Wembley should be reserved as a home of excellent football, only. That's why the nation is excited at the prospect of Spurs playing their home football there, next season.

  15. So, Pep (who, himself, is reputed to be on £15m a year, at £ity, when he starts his contract), is, according to the hack press, going to buy:-

    Messi for £120m
    Pogba for £80m
    Stones for £50m
    Naymar for £105m

    That's a total of around £355m.

And none of this is going to offend against FFP in any way, shape, manner or form.

Surely the Utd spending spree tells us that FFP is dead. The players being crap is no defence!

  18. Bar Stones because, well, he's not exactly on the same level as the others, I'd quite like that to happen. Sure Man City would became a brilliant side but it would be great to see the likes of Guardiola, Messi, Pogba and Neymadge in the PL!

  19. Yes, it would be a cracking spectacle to see Charlie Adam break Messi's legs.
