It looks like he's leaving Barcelona tomorrow, i'm a bit shocked that he's leaving them to be honest but its his choice, i would mind him as our new manager, he doesn't have an ego, he's a class act, he's developed Barcelona into the biggest club in the world, we wouldn't need to change our style because he likes attacking football, with all that considered, i wouldn't mind him as our new manager.
He's got 3 of the 5 best players in the world at his disposal and he couldn't come up with a Plan B to break down arguably the worst Chelsea team in 8 years playing with ten men at the Nou Camp. No thanks.
Even I could have won Champions League and La Liga titles with Barcelona's squad. It will be interesting to see how he does elsewhere.
No doubt he's done a brilliant job but the kind of playing staff he has, the youth setup meaning that he can throw some 18-year-old kid from the academy any time and expect him to do a job, most of the components were already there he only had to apply the finish so to speak. He's done that to near perfection but it begs the question how he'll fare without the dream team. Agree that's he a class bloke who instills modesty, team ethic and professionalism to the players, that's the kind of things I like to see. He'd be mad to leave Barca because of one bad week but in a way I'd like to see him to do that, see how he does somewhere else.
True but apparently he wanted to leave Bracelona 6 months ago, it must've been the pressure he was under, in a way we are simliar to them, we play attacking football and develope young players as well.
I recall about 2 years hearing he was prepared to walk away from Barca and indeed football for a while to get his head showered. Would not object if he became United coach one day.
I'd have Moyes as Pep came to a team of stars at the end of the day and just doesn't suit united at all imo.
