After HIAG admitted last night that his father has a phobia of buttons(I was crying with laughter when he told me) and myself admitting that my sister was scared of paper.

I want to hear some of your fears. What do you hate? Seaweed? Cotton Wour turool?

I personally hate the sea. I was stung by a jellyfish in 2006 in Ibiza and it is always playing on my mind if I ever go near it.

    Your turn.

I have heights, big dogs and water fears. Mainly because I fell off a 20ft bridge, was attacked by a german shepherd and was saved from drowning in the deep end of a swimming pool all on the same 5 day holiday when I was 6. Good times.

I also know 1 guy who is scared of cucumber and another guy who is scared of bananas <laugh>. Apparently phallic fruit and veg fear is a running thing amongst people I know, I should get some new friends.

I suffer from geniophobia and as such I'll never be able to fulfil my life long wish of visiting China as long as it controls me.

<laugh> Forgot to mention I also choked on undercooked bacon and had to reach down my throat to pull it out too. Wasn't the best summer I ever had tbh.

Seriously though, my lass used to work with a bloke who was scared of peaches, kiwi fruit and apricots. Hated the feel of them so much he used to actually avoid them if they were about. They used to hide peaches in his coat pockets and sleeves etc then watch him throw a tantrum when he found them.
