as im sure youve all heard, blatter wants to get rid of penaltys. so, if we are to replace penaltys (which i completly disagree with) any ideas for replacements?
Can't wait for the oaf of a man to expire. There are no really good ways of deciding games after full time. One option would be to look at shots for and against, that usually is a measure of who deserved to win, or perhaps corner stats. Another option suggested is removing one player every five minutes and have a golden goal, that would be well funny to watch although not sure of its merit.
Oh, this is about just penalty shoot outs is it? Don't like the golden goal idea, never did. Just keep having additional extra times until someone wins.
I don't see any alternatives to a penalty shootout and I don't see the need for one either. Its always going to be tough on a team losing a shootout, but thats just the way it is. You win or you lose. Leave it as it is and just get rid of Blatter before he ruins the game completely.
