    I consider myself to be very lucky having seen him play for Santos when I was in the merchant marine in 1965. He brought grace and skill beyond belief to the game of football and his passing, although expected, is a tremendous loss to the entire world of our sport.

    Far too young to see him play. Hard to argue against him being the best ever. Different times make it hard to compare vs someone like Messi todays. A great ambassador for the game though, he will be missed.
