Why do a lot of people want Nigel gone? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it's the first game of the season. For me though, in Pearson we trust!

It was the most chances we've created at home in a long while and although we lost, their goal was completely against the run of play. Why would you want him gone? He got his tactics right and it's not his fault if Fryatt/Simpson can't score.

No excuses this season. I admit he inherited the team and the problems at the beginning of last season (as everybody kept saying). lets see how he does now - mosyly his team choice.

It's a minority who want him out. Getting rid of a manager after one game is nothing short of stupid. After the manager has spent all pre season planning for the new season it throws everything up in the air. Itr's important the club has some stabability with the manager's job and sacking NP won't acheive anything.

One game? I think you'll find he's had 47 games now. He's not good enough, but by all means carry on deluding yourselves.

The club needs stability, but with a decent manager, not a ****ing hopeless one like we have now.

Yes, and since November last year we have only lost 7 league games. Admittedly the home form was poor but i don't think that's too much of a shoddy record to be perfectly honest. I agree that he will be judged on what he does this season since he has bought his own players, but to think of sacking him after one game in a season where we will judge him is foolish. You wouldn't be changing your opinion of him had we won last night, and one defeat won't make a difference. Surely if he wasn't good enough then we'd be starting this season in League 1. I think you'll find you're the one who is deluded. For ****s sake back the bloke and stop whinging!

Easy way to find out who wants him gone, set up a poll on here. Incredible that some people can't see where we are going, I understand Percy has his own agenda so take his comments with a pinch of salt, but any reasonable Tigers fan ought to see we have top manager who has a built a team with great potential in just a season. We aren't there yet, but a lot of that is still to do with the deadwood we are paying wages to still, must be at least 60 grand if not more a week.

Yeah, strikers can't be expected to score when hitting balls on the bounce...

We constantly hear about you wanting a new manager, what manager would you want who we can get? What do you honestly expect us to achieve this season? What was wrong with the formation/tactics of our first game of this season?

It shouldn't be up for discussion if he is building a footballing future, for at least a couple more years, unless he did a Terry D.
