So after the debacle against Middlesbrough on Wednesday NP will not be charged by the FA after telling the referee where to go. It's about time now the FA clamped down on over zealous referees and start charging them instead. After all a lot of them bring the game into disrepute with there control of matches. Respect the ref my a**e why should we respect them when they don't respect the players, managers and the paying public, after all we pay our money to watch a football match, not some jumped up little pipsqueak.
I wholeheartedly agree. Some off the refereeing decisions this season have been bewildering. Has it all got worse since Vincent Kompany was sent off for City for what looked like a decent tackle? Can't help but think this has changed things somewhat. All we see in the media are challenges where everyone wants to do a comparison. This one was worse but no card was given, then others (like Huth yesterday) seem equally not as dangerous & they feel the full force of the Ref law. Its been a bad time for decision making, thats for sure.
