It is being reported that Adam Pearson is looking to return to the board at Leeds Do you view this as a good thing? Personally, I have no objections. He has experience running football businesses (unlike GFH) & they could do with some proper guidance from an ex Leeds man rather than the belligerent warped advice of a certain Capt. Birdseye look-a-like. He didn't do Hull any harm, & he spent some money on players (which would be a novelty at ER!)
As far as I know, this recent story stems from Adam being pressed at a recent event. He was asked if he was interested in getting back into football and said something like he wouldn't rule it out pressed further if he had a club in mind he said something along the lines of on like Leeds. He did look to buy off Bates previously but backed off because he said it wasn't clear what was actually for sale. Adam Pearson is very well respected in the business and the football world and always had the right words to say at press conferences and in my view it's because he understood fans and wanted to do right by them. On a slight negative he has said that if he had been in charge during our promotion push he would not have taken the gambles needed to get us there. All in all if he does get involved you'll have few complaints.
