Great manager if your looking to build, not so sure hes a "quick fix" to stay in the prem though.

Don't think we had many options left !

Might get the players going and will have a point to prove ..

He has done a few dodgy things in his past, that is for sure.

Who else would come in though?

Sadly, there is not much to lose as our goose already seems cooked.

He might well be the type of personality the club need to get more out of the squad.

Since the sack at Leicester he left Derby Co by mutual consent and got the sack from a team in Belgium. Was a good manager 4 years ago but now? have to wait and see what the results show. But our turnover of managers has reduced the pool of managers who would be prepared to come to Watford.

To be announced tomorrow. Craig Shakespeare as no2. Deal until end of the season with possible extension. Will watch from the stands tomorrow.

I see it as a decent appointment and moreover, maybe a change in approach from the Pozzo(s).

Probably an alternative option as others rejected us unsurprisingly !

Pearson is a no nonsense manager who might sort out a few egos or fall out easily with them !

Think it's too late tbh unless injuries clear up and we do well in the transfer market .

If we go down will he get a chance to take us back up ?

If anyone is wondering why NP was managing a Belgian 2nd division club

OH Leuven are owned by King Power. Vichai called NP out of the blue and asked him to go there which he did. It started very well there for NP just missing out on promotion but after Vichai passed things turned at Leuven and NP was eventually sacked
