NP now generally most of the bookies favourite for the Leicester post......he needs to come out now as Lee Clark did to kill it or it'll just keep gathering pace.....assuming of course there's nothing in it & I can't seriously believe he'd consider going back, whoever takes it will be under extreme pressure to get them up and dare I say it if they don't they'll be staring down the barrell of the dole queue come next May.....

I fully back Pearson, and he may find the linking with Leicester "irritating" - but to be frank - I'm finding him a little irritating this week. He could stop the speculation with a couple of words - unless he's not quite as irritated as he makes out.

This has nothing to do with his position at City - he's doing a good job and I am 100% behind him, but the club is fully behind him, and I don't think it's too much to ask for him now to rule himself out of the running for the job. His avoidance of the issue is destabilising to this club - and he would not tolerate anyone else having that effect.

He's done well, but he has also been backed by the management wherever possible - he knows that his job is safe, and the owners have promised finance in the January window if needed. This is his team, that he's built, and it's about time he publicly stood by it.

It's like having your bird give another fella the glad-eye whilst out with you.

This makes me laugh. Non Story. Bet the Allams and AP have already spoken to NP and had a group hug. They will have shown him the love. <ok> :emoticon-0104-surpr:emoticon-0109-kiss:

NP just given Burnsie the same comment on sportstalk. He is not interested in the Foxes.

Cant see NP going anywhere, My guess would be Roy Keane for their next manager.

Leicester City talks with "new manager" cancel charity visit

Nov 3 2011 By Isaac Ashe

TALKS with an unnamed "new club manager" by Leicester City have caused the postponement of a trip to LOROS hospice.
Although no name has been released by the club, a statement of the postponement of the event released by the Leicester charity indicates that the Foxes have identified their man and are negotiating with a replacement for Sven Goran Eriksson.
In a statement, LOROS spokesman said: "Unfortunately Leicester City Football Club have had to postpone todays planned visit to LOROS as the Directors are currently involved in negotiations with the new Club Manager.
"The Club are very sorry for the disappointment this has caused but have committed to visiting LOROS with the First Team Squad, New Manager, Susan Whelan (CEO) and Aiyawatt Top Raksriaksorn (Vice-Chairman) in the near future."
