Both Pearson and Kelly played today as City won 4-0 against Army Regiment 11. Pearson played 60 minutes and was replaced by Kelly for the last 30 minutes.

Could only be a month or so until they return.

    Wagstaff/Burns, Pack, Kelly Pearson

Would make a good looking midfield in this league.

Swap pack for Marv and yeah looks good. Even though he was ****e last year, Pearson is just what we need at the moment and Kelly cant return soon enough!

    'Burns, Pack, Kelly, Pearson'-
Good shout RODney, although I'd choose Marv in CM, but agree you need 2 players like Marv, Pack and Kelly to provide stability and balance.

However - Far to sensible for Cotterill.
Where's he going to play fu**ing Gillett ?

Speaking of Gillett. I see he was the one who gave a pass away from the throw in against Coventry.....

It may be too soon to see the best of Kelly.
That might be at Accrington Stanley next season

id not be surprised to see pearson on the bench if he's managing 60 mins for the reserves id possibly expect to see the both near the first team towards the end of this month assuming there no set backs

In theory both are Championship quality so would be good assets in this league.
Remember though that both have been out for a long time, so don't expect too much this season

I fear by the time they are both fully match fit and integrated back in to the team to the point where they can influence anything, it could well be too little too late. I wouldn't expect miracles from them this season, and a tad unfair to build Kelly up as our saviour when he has only played just over a dozen games for us, just shows how desperate we are!!!

Because he's injured he'll have no re-sale value when he wants out

    Lose lose situation
