Useless Manager. Crap at City, crap for England U-21's. Serves them right for appointing him in the fist place

Well.....would you want a business like manager or a bloke who loves his club? I guess the former is best if you cannot have both.

    Forest 12th - manager sacked

Last season Bournemouth at the same stage 14th, having been as high as 8th after 11 games.

Dougie Freedman appointed. Seems like indecent haste and obviously work already done to secure this.

Just goes to show that you shouldn't necessarily rush to appoint former players into management. It rarely seems to work. Our Gerry did well, as did Kenny Dogwash at Liverpool (the first time), but I struggle to think of many for whom it didn't end in tears. Shearer didn't do very well in his brief time at the helm of Toon, nor did Giggsy at Man Ure.

Pearce is a loser so no surprise he went. He was a loser for England (missing that pen), a loser for under 21's and i knew he wouldn't last that long.

Danny Mills on Stuart Pearce two weeks ago:

"Pearce always starts well but goes off the boil. He is very predictable.

"After 10 games people work him out."

"I'm not surprised it has happened for him," said Mills.

"Stuart Pearce came into Manchester City and had a fantastic 'Honeymoon Period' and then went wrong - and did the same with the England Under-21s.

"He comes in, everyone says 'wow, it's Stuart Pearce, legend! Psycho' and all of that and he has that instant respect.

"He gets teams going but after a while, players aren't stupid, they're not naive and they start to suss him out. He doesn't have the depth of football ability to back it up.

"Actually, he is not a great coach, he's not a great tactician, he's not a great motivator and he struggles with big players who question his authority."

    Sounds like he's describing Harry.

Probably had it planned before the Derby County match - then delayed because Forest won it
