For my part I would like to apologise to MFG for putting his name on the title of the thread. It was a genuine attempt to engage in civilised debate but I accept there were better ways to go about it. I've always felt the board to be a good place full of good people (not cliques just guys who like footy and a bit of banter) and so I, Billy Blair - Middle East Peace Envoy invite all to sit and smoke the pipe of peace together
I would also ask that the mods remove BBF's ban even though he asked for it so that he can come back if he has a change of heart.
My personal take on recent events is that it is good that we don't always agree, this board would be a boring place if we did. However, there is a lack of respect for other peoples thoughts, opinions and feelings (yes, feelings too) at times. We all love Liverpool Football Club and we all want the same thing but people are from different backgrounds and have different views / morals. It is impossible for us all to get along but we clearly have regulars on here that have got along for a long time, maybe they don't realise they gang up on non-regulars that have a differing view or opinion? Maybe the non-regulars are overreacting? I don't know. But, IMO, it is good that we have different types of posters and if you are to post on an internet forum then you should expect responses that you won't necessarily like too
