This is what we need Im loving PDC more and more everyday http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...i-Canio-ready-to-get-tough-on-Sunderland.html
Well i'm all for this approach. Previous managers have dangled the carrot and the players have not responded, it's now time to use the stick, and like he says if they dont like it they can always leave. The life of a footballer is very short in terms of playing time, and if they cant or wont knuckle down for those few years in a job that they are handsomely paid for, they dont deserve the chance to play for the club i love. God, supporters would give their back teeth to be in their position.
Sounds good to me. Any players who join us now will know exactly what to expect and exactly what is expected of them.
Absolutely this, ****ing hell I'd give my life savings for 90 mins in front of a packed sol. As for di canio we've needed someone like him all my life
I'm really shocked that Di Canio methods are so alien in the football world. I knew footballers were a bunch of spoilt little gits. But I had no idea how little discipline is in the game or how little training they did or how little most managers actually spend with their players on the training ground. Keane barely turned up, same for MoN, Reid just give them a kick about and elsewhere I understand Big Sam spends little time at west ham. Definite room for improvement in football and I'm glad we've found someone to implement such changes.
The club's been too long waiting for a bloke like Di Canio, we know that any players that come here will be doing it because they want to kick on rather than a soft pay day like the QPR bunch. He gets a big For Stuffing from me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-6DnH8A5WI
