Literally several hours? Sounds vaguely familiar. Are you sending attachments via hotmail, by any chance, mate? They are the world's worst for that. I swapped for yahoo two or three years ago, and they're miles faster. One thing though - if you do swap and you have a paypal account, don't forget to close that and start a new paypal account with your new address. I didn't, and it cost me a downloaded product which they still sent to hotmail. I had to buy it twice. Hope this helps. Good luck with it.

Yeah it's not to do with your pic mate. Most likely your email provider. I use gmail and never have problems. The wife uses hotmail and has intermittent issues like you...

Failing that... Turn it off and back on and you're fine

Cheers. My IP provider is TalkTalk & my email address is with them.
Don'i use hotmail or gmail but if it persists I'll give it a go.

Not hotmail Billy, whatever you do - they might be worse. Gmail or yahoo would be fine.

Yeah. You used to have to be recommended but they stopped that to get more people on side!

They're all free, its just a question of how reliable they are and how much they spam you with stuff. I use yahoo and find them to be good.

Talktalk use AOL (America On Line) for their email system or as we used to call them America OFF line - they are sh**e so don't expect a good consistent performance from them
