I try to get to as many away games as possible, but if I cant travel I have to resort to live streaming online with a blurry picture and/or a stream that freezes a lot and it really takes the kick out of the game.

Does anyone know of any trustworthy sites with descent quality streaming which are pay per view for Southampton games?

I've used Plus1HD a few times, saw it recommended on here.

I can't put the link on here but there is a site I use which rebroadcasts Al Jazeera streams, which is basically all the Premier League matches and some other sports (anything on Sky and BT) live.

Without being too obvious, if you google the words Premier followed by a space, followed by AD, followed by another space, and then Live you should find a link. Costs about £6 a month.

I did put the link on here ages ago but they immediately spotted it and asked me to remove it. I guess they like to keep a low profile, as the matches they show are only supposed to be shown in the Middle East.

Are the streams HD? Was a member for Plus1HD for a bit, but found them a bit unreliable in the end, which is annoying when you're paying them money. Have just been sticking to the free ones recently.

The local Wetherspoons sells water for 1.95 a pint when there's a match on.

    They call it "Carlsberg" though.

The quality and reliability of First Row is very poor and my language has been known to get very choice when it continues to drop off or I get adverts for the services of young ladies!
If Saints Player would offer a quality stream I would willingly pay say another £5 a game for the times I can't get down to a game....potential additional income stream

You can get some very good/reliable streams if you use sites like wiziwig. Failing that places like reddit sometimes offer HD streams if we're playing a decent sized club. I really wouldn't recommend paying for this sort of stuff, unless it's sky or bt.

Really..? What kind of quality are you asking for, for nothing..? You can actually have HD if you want. Personally, I'm surprised at how often the quality is very reasonable. Usually there are about 5 to 6 streams of the match you want, and 99% of the time you can find one that works very well, with smooth and fairly detailed playback.

To save your language, use half-decent advert, tracker, and cookie blockers, and you won't be bothered by the young ladies anymore.

Yeah it's okay - similar to Wiziwig and First Row to be honest. Much the same feeds TSS.

cricfree is like reddit and firstrow. It is basically a list of channels with decent streams. Wysywig is the best bet IMO because it will accumulate all of these together in one place. Plus it gives you acestream, spocast or veetle links.

I will be watching the Sunderland game in HD on one of the Sopcast links because it will be the BTSPort one. I watched the L'Arse v Manyou in HD for free as well.

I use one already mentioned which is £6 a month, always decent streams, there's a interactive chat incase it goes down and the host is always there to sort it, in two years only missed one half of a game due to server issues. Only annoying thing is cup games which aren't televised usually don't appear.

This one that is £6 a month, what sort of quality are we talking about here? Are there ads and do they show every Southampton match?

I only make about 3-4 games a season from Belfast and streaming football has to be the most stressful endeavour known to man. Pop-up ads, lag etc...
