Well I never. Companies will not be allowed to charge 4,000% interest for much longer. How the **** were they ever allowed to?

The worst i've seen was about 2700%

It beggars belief that anybody would be stupid enough to actually take money from these criminals! <laugh>

Feck me, there are some seriously thick feckers in this world!

I took money from multiple companies.

I don't agree with the interest so I won't be paying.

That is one of the all time **** shirt sponsors. Though my personal favourite was P*rtsmouth and Beanie Babies. The replica shirts went very well with the beer guts and tattoos of that clubs notoriously ugly supporters.

I'm a bookmaker and I think these companies are thieves <whistle>

Usually I err on the side of letting people make their own free choices, but these companies are very clearly targeting the people who can least afford to give away a chunk of their pay packet when it finally arrives - so it forces them into perpetual dependency on more loans in the following months.

When I worked in the Jobcentre we used to have to set up payment agreement fees with companies (Brighthouse or Crazy George's as they used to be called were the worst). It was usually a fiver off their JSA every two weeks.

I used to have debts with a couple of banks totaling about two grand. So I went to them and said I was never going to pay them back and offered to give them half what I was due. They both agreed to it.

I know. To be fair I was butt naked and had a gun in my hand at the time so they were happy just to get me out the door.

If someone is so hard up they need a tap why not ask their maw or a good pal who will lead them it for free?

If they are pure ****s that never pay it back and have burnt all their bridges **** them, let the ****s charge them a mint. Their own fault for being ****s.

£6,150 is the current balance owed to me by friends and family. It makes for awkward reunions and broken friendships.

You're missing the bigger picture here. Think of yourself as Germany, and your friends & family as Greece. Everyone knows no ****'s gonna get paid, ever, but no one ever admits this.

I'm talking about £50 bucks to get them through a week for messages or a night out. Surely these pay day loans for for very small loans or do stupid ****s get their full wage leat to them before payday?

    Yeah, that one.

I bet you could share a story or two about horrendous debts and dodgy loans.

Not personally, but it does seem that these loan sharks put people continually a month behind, a situation they can never escape from.

You know the balance? When I was on good money I lent a few "friends" a few quid - only one paid it back and bizarrely he was the one who once ****ed off to Australia with several months worth of his flatmates' rent money.
