bloody hell A hospital spokesman released the following short statement: “I can confirm that he (Pavel Srnicek) is hospitalized in our hospital, but on the wishes of the family will not disclose details of his condition.”
Agree with everyone on here. Shocked as was just listening to him recently on Radio Newcastle. Hope he has a full recovery. Pavel is a Geordie.
By the sounds of it, it's pretty severe. He was out running and had a heart attack. His heart stopped for 20 minutes and he was rushed to hospital and placed in an induced coma [presumably to minimize potential brain damage.] I really hope he pulls through.
I've read they are not sure how long his brain was starved of oxygen. They plan to keep in the induced coma until Wednesday where they will assess again and determine whether he is well enough to come out of the coma. I hope he makes a full recovery, one of my fav keepers

I see people on social media are already confusing a cardiac arrest with a heart attack. Not the same thing.
