looks like trigger wont be numebr 2 as he seems to be our english teacher :p (see the last line of the article). As for Gazzaniga he does look ok but I wouldnt have thought he'd be pushing for the number one, but my be a better option to hawkes and would be good to have 2 good young goalkeepers. hopefully he'll prove himself against some of the better opposition as none of the goalkeeper have really been tested to any great extent yet

Sound's very positive! Think he will be signed up as there must be a reason we have left the number 13 shirt unfilled. To have these other club's looking at him it is interesting to see him still at the Gill's! Think maybe a three month deal with the option to look at him then. Also did I read that he is 6'9!!!! I may be wrong but I think that make him the world's tallest footballer if we sign him as at the moment I think Zigic at Birmingham hold's that record and he is only 6'8!

I think we should sign him up quick, I think someone else may get him before us as he is promising and if bigger clubs are looking at him I doubt he will come to us, Would
love it if we could get him but have doubts

Yeah but there is a chance that other clubs will keep tabs on him, so if we do offer someone else may put something in and beat us to the signing.

I agree but I think that Hess may have told him he want's to sign but need's to see him against better opposition so we are ready to offer him a deal before anyone else can.

My concern with this kid and Baldwin is it? Is that Hess only seems willing to offer them contracts if other people come in for them. They're obviously not that impressive otherwise we'd snap them up. Be it for an instant impact or the future.

i think its more of a case of we can afford them but hess doesnt want to finalise his squad just yet, incase some good offers come in towards the end of the transfer window. this means that a if noone else does come in for them we can get them on our cheap terms but if someone else comes in for them they are good enough for us to offer them a contract at any point. it just saves us jumping the gun and missing out on someone much better later on
